She was born in New York City and raised in Queens before moving to Long Island during her sophomore year of high school, where she met her husband. She graduated with honors and began her career in the mortgage industry, where she spent over 14 years helping families through one of the most important milestones of their lives—homeownership.

In 2018, she relocated to North Carolina with her family. She shares her life with her husband, Derek, her daughter Janiyah (22), her bonus son Julian (22), and their son Carmelo (13). They have been active members of community for the past eight years, where serving together has been a meaningful part of their lives.

After continuing her work in mortgages and later serving as a loan servicer for three years, she discovered a new opportunity in the insurance field after connecting with Mr. Sorgi and his team. She is excited to grow within the agency, pursue her licensing, and build lasting relationships while helping clients protect what matters most. She believes the sky is the limit and looks forward to what’s ahead with The Sorgi Insurance Agency.
